Among them, the hydraulic motor is an important hydraulic component, and its good maintenance can extend the service life and ensure the working performance. The following are the main considerations for hydraulic motor maintenance:
1. Regular inspection and cleaning
- External cleaning: Regularly clean the outside of the hydraulic motor to prevent the accumulation of dust and dirt leading to poor heat dissipation.
- Internal cleaning: The inside of the hydraulic system needs to be kept clean to prevent impurities or dirt from entering the hydraulic motor and causing wear or clogging.
2. Hydraulic fluid management
- Fluid quality: Use the recommended hydraulic fluid type and make sure the fluid quality meets the standard to avoid using poor quality fluid.
- Regular replacement: Replace the hydraulic fluid regularly according to the equipment manual and the actual working environment. It is generally recommended to replace it every 6 months to 1 year, or adjust it according to the fluid test results.
- Fluid cleanliness: Ensure that the hydraulic fluid is clean and free of moisture or impurities, and can be filtered regularly by installing a high-efficiency oil filter.
3. Hydraulic System Maintenance
- Inspection of seals: Seals are an important guarantee for the normal operation of hydraulic motors, seals should be inspected regularly for aging, wear or leakage and replaced in time.
- Piping inspection: Regularly check the connection of hydraulic piping to prevent loosening, leakage or breakage.
- Checking pressure and flow: Monitor the system pressure and flow to ensure that the hydraulic motor is working within the recommended range and to avoid overloading or underpressurization.
4. Avoid overloading
- Ensure that the hydraulic motor operates according to design requirements and avoid prolonged exposure to high pressure, high temperature or overload to prevent rapid deterioration or damage to components.
5. Temperature management
- The operating temperature of the hydraulic fluid needs to be maintained in the appropriate range (usually 30℃-60℃), too high or too low temperature may affect the performance of the hydraulic fluid and the efficiency of the motor.
- If the temperature is too high, it is necessary to check whether the cooling system is working properly.
6. Inspection before operation
- Before each startup, the hydraulic motor and its related piping should be checked to see if they are normal, to avoid greater damage due to undetected problems.
7. Storage and shutdown maintenance
- When the hydraulic motor is out of service for a long time, it should be filled with hydraulic oil and the interface should be sealed to prevent corrosion.
- Rotate the hydraulic motor manually on a regular basis to make the internal oil flow and avoid parts rusting or sticking.
8. Professional maintenance and repair
- Regularly ask professional technicians to carry out a comprehensive inspection to ensure that the key components of the hydraulic motor (such as bearings, gears, sub-parts) are working properly.
- It should be shut down and inspected in time to avoid small problems leading to big failures.
