The GFT Series Tire Rasper, also called a Tire Wire Separator, processes all kinds of waste tires—passenger car tires, truck tires, bus tires, OTR tires, etc. It shreds pre-cut rubber chips (50–80mm) into rubber granules (12–30mm), simultaneously separating embedded steel wires and some fibers. Powerful shearing between rotary cutter rotors and the cutting chamber enables effective material separation and size reduction in one continuous operation.
