Jaw crushers are a very well established class of equipment that have been in use for over 150 years since they were first invented and are widely used in quarrying and mining plants to produce construction aggregates or to crush ores.
The jaw crusher reduces the size of stones and ores by squeezing, it is able to accept large size raw materials and is usually used for primary crushing. Typical features of a jaw crusher are its two large flywheels and the V-shaped jaws in the crushing chamber. During operation, the material enters the crushing chamber from above and the eccentric shaft on the flywheel drives the jaws in a human-like chewing motion to crush the material.
GEP Ecotech's jaw crushers have the capacity to handle a wide range of hard materials, making it easy to handle construction and demolition waste, and we also offer mobile jaw crushers mounted on tracks or frames with tyres to meet the requirement to be mobile when crushing.
